Virtual Money® Inc. strives to remain

Responsive to the Needs of the
Marketplace
With our extensive experience in payment
processing, in 1997 we recognized that existing products were not
addressing market demands. We began developing a solution that would
consolidate payment services for Internet merchants.
Our idea was to expand the market for merchants
so that they could accept payment from 100% of the buying public -
not just those who had credit cards. Our research revealed that
millions of people - possibly as much as one-third of US households -
did not even have bank accounts, much less credit cards. Clearly
there was a huge segment that was underserved, so our solution could
benefit a large number of consumers and merchants.
We incorporated in March 2000 as Virtual Money®
Inc., a privately-held company based in Texas.
As we developed our products, we became aware of
emerging opportunities worldwide that were much greater than
electronic commerce alone. Employers wanted to simplify their payroll
systems and be able to offer all their employees direct deposit and
medical discounts. Retail merchants wanted to increase store traffic
and offer their customers more options. Consumers wanted more
flexibility and security when making payments. In response to the
needs of the market, we expanded our proprietary processing designs
to include the Virtual Money® ATM Card™, and then packed it
with an unbeatable combination of features.
We assembled a management team composed of
individuals with extensive knowledge and resources in the banking,
technology, direct marketing, and electronic payments industries.
We built a comprehensive infrastructure to
provide customer support and services. Our core products are based on
current efficient technologies, not outdated legacy systems. We are
proud that our extensive research and development has resulted in a
significant intellectual property set.
We secured a registered trademark for the unique
and descriptive name, Virtual Money®®, as well as marks for the
Virtual Money® ATM Card™ and our logo, "The CARD You Can BANK
On!(TM)"
Recognizing the opportunities available, yet
cognizant of the multitude of challenges in dealing with a huge
